PEM Back as Official Quick Change of USMTS

ST. CLAIR, Mo. (Jan. 14) — Performance Engineering and Manufacturing, LLC (PEM) is returning for a fourth straight year in 2022 as the Official Quick Change of the Summit USMTS National Championship.

Embarking on their seventh year of manufacturing and building complete quick change rear ends for the oval track racing market, PEM builds their quick change rear-ends with standard features that are options on some of the other companies.

Based in St. Clair, Mo., the company is focusing on reaching out to other regions of the United States while continuing to offer the same great local service that they have become known for.

As part of their program for USMTS competitors, PEM will provide product certificates for drivers at every event on the 2022 calendar as well as the top three finishers in the Summit USMTS National Championship points

2022 season blasts off March 3-5: The Summit USMTS Modifieds will invade the Rocket Raceway Park in Petty, Texas, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 3-5, for the 12th Annual USMTS Texas Spring Nationals.

The track opened in 2015 and hosted the USMTS on June 25 for the first and only visit here by the series. Philip Houston was the winner that night. Formerly known as 82 Speedway, the fast quarter-mile dirt oval will also welcome USRA Stock Cars, USRA Limited Mods and USRA Factory Stocks all three nights.

The Rocket Raceway Park is a wide, sweeping 1/4-mile high-banked dirt oval and the facility holds 3,400 spectators in its elevated grandstands which offer superb viewing from any seat. The venue is located in Lamar County, about 15 minutes west of Paris and 25 minutes east of Bonham. The track’s physical location is 16369 US Hwy 82, Petty, TX 75470.
