Swift Springs
Steps Up Support for USMTS Racers
CHINO HILLS,
Calif. (Jan. 27) —
Swift Springs is continuing their
support for USMTS competitors again in the 2022 racing
season through several awards earmarked for champions
and local competitors.
A new program for the
upcoming season Swift Springs will be the sponsor of the
Fast Lap Award. At each Summit USMTS National
Championship event, Swift Springs will award a $100
certificate to the driver with the fastest lap during
qualifying. The driver who garners the most Swift
Springs Fast Lap Awards will receive a $1,000 cash award
at season's end.
And continuing with their program from previous
seasons, Swift Springs will award the same prize to the
local driver that is the highest finisher in each main
event, as well as offering the Swift Springs Four
Corners Award (four springs to the winner) at six select
USMTS events.
Finally, in addition to adding cash
to the points fund for all drivers, the Summit USMTS
National Champion and Grant Junghans USMTS Rookie of the
Year will receive a certificate for a set of four
springs at the conclusion of the 2022 campaign.

2022 season blasts off
March 4-5: The Summit USMTS Modifieds will
invade the Rocket Raceway Park in Petty, Texas, on
Friday and Saturday, March 4-5, for the 12th Annual
Texas Spring Nationals.
The fast and wide

for the first time ever, along with USRA Limited Mods
and USRA Factory Stocks both nights. An open practice
for all divisions is slated for Thursday night, March 3.
The Rocket Raceway Park holds 3,400 spectators and
its elevated grandstands offer superb viewing from any
