Harness Commits To USMTS Racers for 13th Straight Year
in 2022
FREEPORT, Ill. (Feb
10) —
Competitors in the Summit USMTS National
Championship presented by RacinDirt will once again earn
contingency awards and cash from Hooker Harness
throughout the 2022 season.
Entering their 13th
year as a USMTS marketing partner, Hooker Harness will
award a 50%-off coupon to the top three in the final
Grant Junghans USMTS Rookie of the Year points, as well
as a complete Hooker Harness system to the driver
finishing 11th in the final national points.
Furthermore, Hooker Harness will award a 25%-off
certificate to the driver finishing 12th in every main
event this racing season.
Founded by Jack Hooker
more than 50 years ago, Hooker Custom Harness, Inc., has
earned the reputation as the leading and most respected
producer of Aerobatic aircraft seatbelts and shoulder
harnesses.
The background in aviation and their
commitment to quality, consistency and customer service
provided Hooker Harness with a foundation for a
successful emergence into the racing industry.
Each seatbelt and shoulder harness is specifically
tailored to meet the individual needs and requirements
of each individual driver, vehicle and sanctioning body;
therefore they are not produced until they are ordered.
Custom production also provides the driver with the
most current restraint system available.

2022 blasts off at Rocket
Raceway Park: The Summit USMTS National
Championship presented by RacinDirt will invade the
Rocket Raceway Park in Petty, Texas, on Friday and
Saturday, March 4-5, for the 12th Annual USMTS Texas
Spring Nationals.
The track, formerly known as 82
Speedway and East Texas Speedway, opened in 2015 and
hosted the USMTS on June 25 for the first and only visit
here by the series. Philip Houston was the winner that
night.
The fast and wide quarter-mile high-banked

open practice for all divisions is slated for Thursday,
March 3.
The Rocket Raceway Park holds 3,400
spectators and its elevated grandstands offer superb
viewing from any seat. The venue can be found in Lamar
County—about 15 minutes west of Paris and 25 minutes
east of Bonham. The physical location is 16369 US Hwy
82, Petty, TX 75470.
