JE Pistons, USMTS Combine Forces For Engine Builders, Racers

CYPRESS, California (February 19)--JE Pistons has joined the USMTS family of marketing partners for the 2020 racing season and will join Compstar Performance Engine Components by Callies as sponsor of the Engine Builder of the Year program.

With deep roots in motorsports, JE has unmatched history in all levels of circle track competition. Their dedicated lines of pistons are forged and machined 100 percent in the USA from premium 2618 aluminum for ultimate strength, durability and performance.

In addition to awarding product certificates to the top 5 engine builders in the final standings, JE Pistons will also contribute cash to the year-end points funds for competitors.

The origins of what we know today as JE Pistons can be traced back to 1912 and the Los Angeles foundry of William Jahns Sr. and his company W.H. Jahns. Through the years, JE Pistons' technology evolved from mastering casting technology in the 1960s to researching and implementing forging technology in the '70s.

JE Pistons has continued to evolve their manufacturing processes, currently offering racing pistons either off the shelf or fully custom. JE Pistons are all designed, forged and machined in-house, allowing control over every step of the piston-making process.
