USRA Limited Mod, Factory Stock Rules Released

DALLAS, Texas (November 21) Class rules for the USRA Limited Mod and Sunoco USRA Factory Stock divisions are now posted for drivers in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series ready to roar in 2023.

The 2023 rules for all divisions have been posted on the USRA website and are available for competitors to download at usraracing.com/rules.

Few changes were made to either class with the most recognizable change being the addition of the American Racer G60-15 KK704 (Short, Tall or X-Tall) racing tire as an option, along with the Hoosier asphalt F45 pull-off tires.

Drivers may call or text USRA Technical Director Darlo Mulder at (515) 835-9946 or email tech@usraracing.com.

The USRA has grown from 28 racetracks hosting USRA-sanctioned divisions in 2018 to more than 50 of the most popular dirt tracks in America hosting one or more events during the 2022 racing season.

There are currently eight divisions sanctioned for competition in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series: USRA Modifieds, Medieval USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks, USRA Late Models, USRA Limited Mods, Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks and USRA Tuners.

Licensed to thrill: Registration is open for racers planning to compete in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series during the 2023 calendar year. The first 300 drivers to purchase a USRA license will receive a Summit Racing Equipment $50 gift card.

All competitors at a USRA-sanctioned event must possess either a USRA Competitor License or USRA Temporary License to participate in the event. Drivers competing in USRA-sanctioned events are eligible to earn track, regional and national points in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series from January 1 through October 29, 2023.

Register online on MyRacePass today. Drivers may call (515) 832-6000 to register by phone, or submit a completed USRA License Application by email at office@usraracing.com or fax (515) 832-7958. You can download the application at usraracing.com/downloads.

Credit card transactions include a $5 processing fee. To avoid this charge, mail a check with your completed form.

The cost of a USRA Competitor License for the 2023 calendar year is unchanged from 2022. USRA Modifieds are $130, Medieval USRA Stock Cars and USRA Late Models are $110, and licenses are $100 for USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks, USRA Limited Mods and Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks. USRA Tuners are $60.

All licenses fees will increase by $20 beginning March 6, 2023. Competitors must purchase a USRA Competitor License on or before June 30 to earn full points funds, and competitors may also designate their intention to compete for Rookie of the Year in their division.
